The one big disadvantage with the chunky types is that they make a big bulge in your clothing... But then again if you're the type who likes to flaunt his cash, then a bulge in the pocket of your jeans might be your thing...
But if you're the type who prefers to be cashless (read: I don't trust myself with a huge amount of cash, because it burns a hole in my pocket more than does my credit card) then you might go for one of the slim types that slips easily into the inside pocket of a suit jacket, with not a bulge in sight. You won't carry more than a hundred in bills, but you'll be using your high-powered credit cards in all those trendy and posh establishments you go to.
What if your the type who likes to carry huge amounts of cash and keys and a hundred other things? Chances are you're the type who rides a great big motorbike... and for you there's the... you've guessed it... the bikers wallet Super chunky with enough room to carry all the things a biker needs. It won't fit into your pocket, but straps round the waist on a large leather belt. Just the ticket.
So wise guys don't carry money in a wallet. But maybe cool wise guys with an eye for fashion and utility do.
